Meet The Acupuncturist

Natalie Zajac, L.Ac., M.S.A.O.M.

Natalie Zajac is a Nationally (NCCAOM) Certified Acupuncturist and is licensed in California and Colorado.

After graduating from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Natalie attended Bastyr University in Seattle and received a Master's of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in June of 2000. This degree entails not only acupuncture, but also Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition, and massage (tuina). Natalie also traveled to China to earn certifications in musculoskeletal injuries and diseases at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also obtained certifications in gynecology and internal medicine at Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine.

Natalie was an associate, with one of the founders of the acupuncture program at Bastyr, Dr. Qiang Cao, L.Ac., Dipl.C.H., O.M.D., N.D. and Dr. Hai Lan, L.Ac., Dipl.C.H., O.M.D., who were both trained in China and have approximately 60 years of experience between them.

Natalie has a broad knowledge of both Eastern and Western medicine; having grown up assisting her father at his family medical practice. She has had her own experience with chronic pain and female health issues and uses Chinese medicine to help her. She has a great understanding in treating many of these issues, and now works in conjunction with local infertility clinics. In addition, Natalie treats acute and chronic pain, addiction, digestive disorders, stress, allergies, sports injuries, headaches, depression, anxiety and many other disorders.

Her work with people helps to facilitate the natural and instinctive healing process of the body. Her focus is on ongoing health, and not just temporary relief. To be healed in a non-invasive manner, without the unwelcome side effects of surgery or pharmaceuticals, is truly a miracle to many people.
