Acupuncture and IVF
I am writing to express my deepest thanks for all that you did for me. My husband and I wanted to have a child and had been trying to get pregnant for about 4 years. We had tried it all - timing my cycle, using Chlomid, IUI, and even IVF. Nothing had worked and we were pretty disappointed and discouraged. Dealing with infertility is like being on an emotional roller coaster. You get your hopes up so high every month and then sink so low when you find out once again you're not pregnant. In the spring of 2008 we decided to give IVF one final try and my IVF nurse recommended that I try acupuncture. I had been to a different acupuncturist before, but not someone who's speciality was fertility. I decided to give it another try. That's what brought me here. I was encouraged to change to more healthy eating habits and the acupuncture treatments were so relaxing and calming during a very stressful time. I really looked forward to the treatments each week to not only relax, but re-focus my mind and body to prepare for pregnancy. I feel healthier than I have in years! I had acupuncture before and after the IVF embryo transfer and we found out two weeks later that I'm finally PREGNANT! This is pretty amazing feeling for someone who was beginning to think I would never experience this in my lifetime. I don't fully understand it, but acupuncture works like magic. We now know that we're having twins so I am twice as thankful. I won't ever be able to THANK YOU enough for helping us achieve our dream of having children, please just know that you have our sincere appreciation!Thank You!
